Incoming USJ Students Welcomed with Car Parade

University of Saint Joseph to reopen August 24

The University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Conn. is preparing to reopen on August 24 for residential students and for classes to begin on campus, August 31.

In what is believed to be the first car parade for incoming students at a Connecticut University, University of Saint Joseph yesterday welcomed approximately 100 incoming students. Students were announced as they arrived with current students, staff and faculty cheering them on as they drove around the circle of Flag Pole Island.

Incoming students who participated in today’s car parade represented approximately 40 cities and towns from Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York, 22 student-athletes and 21 academic programs.
