WEST HARTFORD, CT — An independent, family-owned nursing home that has called West Hartford home since 1961 is closing, according to reports.
Connectict Mirror, a nonprofit, independent online state news website, reported Sunday that Hughes Health & Rehabilitation in West Hartford, located at 29 High St., was closing.
The report cited the high cost of doing business combined with a medical landscape emphasizing more home care options, according to Connecticut Mirror.
