It's Official, Crumbl Cookies To Open March 24 In West Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Months of seeing the "coming soon" sign for a major cookie chain at a West Hartford shopping plaza will officially come to an end March 24.

That's because the long-awaited Crumbl Cookies shop to be located at 1445 New Britain Ave., Unit 1E-A, West Hartford, will finally open its doors Friday, March 24.

It is located in the large shopping center across the street from the Westfarms Mall.

Crumbl is the fast-growing, Utah-based national cookie chain started up by two friends in the Utah State University area.

West Hartford store owners Tucker Bartone and Troy Van Belle said they can’t wait to serve "delicious treats to cookie-crazed fans in Crumbl’s perfectly postable pink boxes," reads a statement from Crumbl.

The store will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays.

There are also many full- and part-time job opportunities for folks to make and sell the beloved treats, according to Crumbl.

"Aside from satisfying your sweet tooth, the store is also providing more than 60 career opportunities to West Hartford locals," said Crumbl spokesperson Candyce Paige in a statement.

The grand opening week menu will contain 6 of the 275 plus weekly rotating flavors of baked delights.

Those include the signature Milk Chocolate Chip.

Some of Crumbl’s specialty flavors are: Cornbread, Cookies & Cream, S'mores, Key Lime Pie, Peppermint Bark, Caramel Popcorn, Buttermilk Pancake, Galaxy Brownie and more.

Customers can order in-person during the first five business days of grand opening.

Starting Wednesday, March 29, delivery, curbside pickup, catering and nationwide shipping will be available via the Crumbl App and online at Crumbl.com.

Folks are invited to download the award-winning app to start collecting Loyalty Crumbs toward free cookies today.

Bartone and Van Belle said in a joint statement that one conversation and one visit to another Crumbl made them decide on their business venture.

“All it took was one unexpected conversation, and one visit to the closest Crumbl location to catch the craze, and we started getting ready to bring the best box of cookies in the world to West Hartford," they wrote in a statement.

"As soon as we got a feel for the brand, and taste of the cookies, we were absolutely lit with excitement to show the communities around us what a treat they were in for."
