Traveling Iwo Jima and World War II Museum

The Iwo Jima Memorial Historical Foundation, Inc. has plans to construct a Traveling Iwo Jima and World War II Museum.

Mission:
The Mission of the Iwo Jima Memorial Historical Foundation, Inc. is to maintain the Iwo Jima Memorial and Park in Connecticut, remember those American Servicemen and women who fought and died during the Battle of Iwo Jima and to educate others about the battle and its significance in World War II.

The permanent museum is within the First Company Governor’s Foot Guard in Hartford, CT. They are planning to add a Traveling Museum which can bring history to student, seniors, fairs and other venues. More plans and details will be posted soon.
