Wayback Burgers in West Hartford is celebrating National Cheeseburger Day in a big way.
Wayback Burgers is gearing up for the big date by holding its annual Triple Triple cheeseburger eating contest up until National Cheeseburger Day on Thursday, Sept. 18.
The Triple Triple is a colossal two-pound burger with nine patties and nine slices of cheese all between two buns.

Customers can enter the contest by ordering the monstrous beast, capturing their greatness on video then uploading it from YouTube to the Triple Triple Challenge site at http://tripletriplechallenge.com.
The customer who eats the burger the fastest will win a grand prize of $3,330 (relating it back to the Triple Triple). Last year, one customer demolished the cheeseburger challenge in less than 30 seconds!
