Jump In, West Hartford Has Plenty Of Public Swimming Options

The Town of West Hartford this past week opened all of its swimming areas for the summer, including one that was closed in 2022.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — It's been a week since the town's outdoor pools opened up and, even though the weather has been far from oppresive, when it gets that way, West Hartford is ready.

One of the pools open is a facility that was closed last year, Eisenhower Pool, due to remodeling.

That project was complete and locals have more swimming options than a year ago because of it.

  • Beachland Pool, 847 Quaker Lane
  • Fernridge Pool, 567 Fern St.
  • Kennedy Pool, 160 Oakwood Ave.
  • Eisenhower Pool, 13 Sheep Hill Drive

Open swim and adult swim hours vary by location and details can be found here.

Daily admission for West Hartford residents is $5 for children and seniors and $6 for adults.

Non-resident rates are $7.50 per day for children and seniors and $9 for adults.

Splash pads are also open at Beachland Park, Fernridge Park, and Kennedy Park, as well as at Wolcott Park and they do not require an entrance fee for use. Information about hours can be found here.
