Kingswood Oxford Names New Boys' Lacrosse Coach
New Coach was four-year letter winner in D1 lacrosse program
Mark Conklin, the Assistant Director of College Advising at Kingswood Oxford School, has been named the Head Coach of KO’s Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse team.
“I am excited about the expertise and skill set Mark brings to the Kingswood Oxford lacrosse program,” said Athletic Director Debbie Fiske. “His vast experience as both a player and coach, as well as his college advising background, will be instrumental in player and program development. And, his character, knowledge, and leadership make him a wonderful role model.”
Before coming to KO, Conklin worked for seven years at The Gunnery School in Washington, CT, where he was the Associate Director of Admissions, a part-time College Advisor, and a boys’ varsity lacrosse coach. In 2014, he was named the “Head Coach of the Year” in Div. 2 of the Western New England Secondary School Lacrosse Association.
