Lamont, Rell To Host Forum On Political Civility At UHart

The current Democratic governor and the last Republican to hold the office will headline the event Wednesday night.

WEST HARTFORD/HARTFORD, CT — In these highly divisive political times, is it possible for Democrats and Republicans to agree to disagree and still work together?

While that seems nearly impossible in the nation's capital, Connecticut's capitol area is hosting a special forum on the topic tonight with the current Democratic governor and the last Republican to hold the office.

Democratic Governor Ned Lamont will join former Republican Governor M. Jodi Rell at an event in West Hartford co-hosted by Connecticut Public and the University of Hartford, which is located in West Hartford, Hartford and Bloomfield.

The event is at 7 p.m. at the University of Hartford's Millard Auditorium, 200 Bloomfield Ave., West Hartford
