It is a stand-out idea for companies looking to spread cheer and show gratitude to employees and clients at the end of the year, or for families wanting to connect with loved ones in a special and memorable way. It is an opportunity to “put your own creativity into your season’s greetings!”

Christy Corey’s art is rooted in community through a love of collaboration and connection. Promoting joy in every delicious bite of life, her delectable creations draw inspiration from cherished food memories, vibrant landscapes and quiet moments. She finds contentment, excitement and fulfillment in the creation of freshly painted passages in watercolor and acrylic and savors the opportunity to pass those feelings along.

Currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Illustration / Animation in the University of Connecticut’s School of Fine Arts, Christy graduated from the University of Hartford’s low residency MFA in Illustration program and has taught classes and workshops at Jerry’s Artarama, West Hartford Art League and the New Britain Museum of American Art. Her work has been featured on magazine covers in the region, and an exhibit of her work took place at the Joseloff Gallery at the University of Hartford in 2023.

“I look forward to working with businesses to design distinctive holiday cards that showcase their business and their relationship with customers, clients and employees and bring smiles and good feelings to all who receive them,” Christy said. “Sharing joy is what the holiday season is all about.”

For greeting cards this holiday season, businesses have the option of purchasing the digital file (artwork is prepared for a printer they work with) or to have the printing coordinated by Christy Corey. Prices start at $300 for custom artwork; custom work typically takes 2-5 weeks, depending upon the complexity of the design.
