Major Additions/Promotions Announced At West Hartford PD
The department promoted two current officers and swore in five newcomers to the WHPD.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — It was big week at the West Hartford Police Department, with the WHPD announcing Friday several promotions/new hires.
According the the WHPD, the department Thursday had a join promotional and swearing-in ceremony at West Hartford Town Hall.
The following promotions/hires became official:

• Lt. Peter Juda was promoted to captain and is assigned to the patrol division.
• Sgt. Sara Nagle was promoted to lieutenant and is also assigned to the patrol division.

• The following new officers were sworn in: Brian Goncalves from the Waterbury PD and Ryan Chieffo joined the department from the Cromwell PD.
• Sebastian Sanzaro, Emanuel Pantano and Ryan Bobrowiecki were also sworn in and will start the police academy in early April.
"Thank you to everyone that attended," wrote the WHPD Friday. "Congratulations to our newly promoted captain and lieutenant, we know you will serve well in your new roles. And to our new hires, welcome to WHPD. We wish you well with your new PD and new career."
