How To Use ParkMobile In West Hartford

ParkMobile offers several ways for motorists to pay for parking, including options that do not require downloading an app or creating an account.

Available features include:

  • Pay by app: Download the ParkMobile app, enter the parking zone number posted at the location, and pay using a mobile device.
  • Scan to Pay: Scan the QR code displayed on ParkMobile parking signs to start a parking session without downloading an app.
  • Text to Pay: Text "PARK" to 77223 and follow the instructions to pay.
  • Extend parking remotely: Add time to a parking session using a mobile phone, where permitted, without returning to the vehicle or parking kiosk.
  • Parking notifications: Receive alerts before a parking session expires.

Customers using the Scan to Pay or Text to Pay features do not need to create a ParkMobile account, according to the town.

Other Parking Payment Options

Although Flowbird is no longer accepted, the town said Passport Parking remains available as a mobile payment option throughout West Hartford's municipal parking areas.

Parking kiosks also continue to operate for motorists who prefer to pay directly at a machine.

The town has been installing updated parking signs in municipal garages, surface parking lots, and on-street parking areas.

The signs include parking zone numbers, QR codes, and payment instructions.

Motorists should review the signs at their parking locations and confirm they have entered the correct parking zone before starting a payment session, officials said.

The changes are part of West Hartford's ongoing efforts to improve parking convenience and accessibility.
