Major WeHa Theater Group Up For 19 Awards

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The West Hartford-based "Playhouse on Park" theater group is up for several Connecticut theater industry awards.

And it is asking the public for its support.

The theater organization, which is based at 244 Park Road, West Hartford, is up for 19 different awards in BroadwayWorld's regional theater honors.

BroadwayWorld is an online guide to all theater performances nationally and BroadwayWorld Connecticut is hosting its annual awards program.

Among the categories are "best in" competitions for musicals, non-musicals, dance productions, etc.

The biggest honor is "best professional theater company," which "Playhouse on Park" is hoping to get.
