Man Crashes Vehicle Into West Hartford Apartment Building, Charged with DWI: Police
Police said there was extensive damage to both the front of the building and the vehicle.

WEST HARTFORD, CT - A local man was arrested and charged with DWI after crashing into the front of a building.
Police said a 2006 Chevy Silverado was traveling north bound in an apartment complex driveway when it left the travel portion of the driveway and crashed in to the front of 107 Hillcrest Avenue. The front of the occupied apartment building was hit by the vehicle, according to a release.
Police said there was extensive damage to both the front of the building and the vehicle. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

Jose Serrano, 41, of West Hartford was arrested and charged with DWI, as well as driving with a suspended license. Police said the suspect refused to take any breath tests during the arrest.
He was released after posting $1000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on January 12.
