Shots Fired At Man At Gas Station In West Hartford: Police
Police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Wednesday night in West Hartford.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Wednesday night at a Sunoco in West Hartford. Police responded to the Sunoco, located at 956 New Britain Ave., at about 11:40 p.m. on Jan. 16 on the report of a shooting. The male victim told police that he had been shot at about one hour earlier by a known party, according to Capt. Michael Perruccio.
Perruccio said police later cordoned off the scene and found two shell casings on the ground. There were “no reported injuries” as a result of the incident, according to Perruccio. The shots did not hit the victim, according to Perruccio.
“Investigation shows this was an isolated incident and the suspect is known by the victim,” Perruccio said. “There is no reason to believe there is any threat to the public.”
