Max Pizza Restaurant Coming to West Hartford

Max Restaurant Group plans to begin construction on a Neapolitan pizza restaurant in West Hartford Center in March, according to the Hartford Courant.

The Courant reports the restaurant, which will be the group’s third restaurant in West Hartford Center, will be located at 32 LaSalle Road in between Jos. A Bank and the Shish Kebab House of Afghanistan.

The group’s other West Hartford restaurants are Max Burger and Max’s Oyster Bar and the pizza place will be managed by Dante Cistulli, the manager of Max’s Oyster Bar, according to the Courant.

Max Restaurant Group Founder and President Richard Rosenthal told the Courant that they are aiming to create a “pizza version of Max Burger, a cutting-edge, hipster pizza place.”
