Meet Your Neighbors At West Hartford Block Party Sunday
The event at West Hartford Town Hall on Sunday, Oct. 20, is aimed at introducing folks to each other amid family games, food, and fun.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford is far from a small town, but an event this weekend aims to bring a small-town feel to one of the largest "towns" in Connecticut.
That's why local leaders are hosting a "Community Block Party" in the West Hartford Town Hall parking lot on Sunday, Oct. 20, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It's a simple event that will, essentially, introduce residents to each other in a neighborly way, with multiple games, activities, and food to purchase on site.

"What better way to bring neighbors together during an ever-changing world than an old-fashioned community block party that celebrates the beautiful diversity of West Hartford," wrote the town in an announcement.
The free event features a scavenger hunt, neighbor speed introductions, school mascots, and food trucks.
