Get Vital Vaccines In West Hartford, What You Need To Know

The West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District has two Covid/flu vaccine clinics in West Hartford later this week.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Amid predictions of a busy cold-weather flu and Covid season, the West Hartford-Bloomfield Health District is offering additional walk-in Flu vaccine and COVID booster clinics at West Hartford Town Hall this week.

Upcoming clinic dates are:

• Thursday, Oct. 20, at West Hartford Town Hall, 50 S. Main St., 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.

• Friday, Oct. 21, at West Hartford Town Hall, 50 S. Main St., 10 a.m. to noon.

Vaccines available include: Pfizer for ages 12+; Moderna for ages 18+; and Flu for ages 4+ (High dose, Regular, and Pediatric flu vaccines are available)
Participants should bring identification, insurance card and COVID vaccination card.

If you don’t have your COVID card, a new one will be provided.

Please consider wearing short sleeves and a mask.

There is no fee for the COVID booster.

For flu immunizations, your insurance provider will be billed. Insurance plans that are accepted include Aetna, Anthem BC/BS, Cigna, ConnectiCare , Medicaid, Medicare Part B, and United Health/Oxford. If you do not have insurance, the fees are $20 pediatric, $50 (ages 19-64) and $75 for High Dose (age 65 yrs. and older). Cash or Check accepted; no credit cards.
