A newly renovated McGovern Hall at University of Saint Joseph in West Hartford, Connecticut, has opened with new-to-campus dining options.
The construction of McGovern Hall began in May 2019, the space completely redesigned to enhance the student experience at University of Saint Joseph.
The new space includes a completely new Jay’s Nest Café featuring Starbucks We Proudly Serve crafted hot and cold beverages, grab and go salads, sandwiches, and snacks. The grill at Jay’s Nest features a classic grill menu including specialty grilled sandwiches, quesadillas and wings. The Jay’s Nest Café is the go-to Late Night spot for students looking for a meal or a late-night snack.

McGovern Dining Commons is the epicenter of campus dining. The space is an all-you-care-to-eat dining facility with digital menu boards, and variety of seating options for up to 325 guests.
The renovated space features a modern design with seven new stations. Stations include: Classics & Co, featuring homemade classic entrees, Stacks Deli, Al Dente with made to order pizzas and pasta, Grill House showcasing classic grill entrees, Demo Daily, a daily chef created dish made to order, Simple Servings, allergen free dining, Plant Forward station, and scratch-made desserts.
