New Store Opens, Another Relocates At Blue Back Square

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Changes are afoot for Blue Back Square as first-in-market Mobile Rescue Tech Repair opens a new store at the end of August, while Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club recently relocated to a larger store in the property.

Mobile Rescue Tech Repair fixes mobile devices and sells services & accessories for Apple products -- including iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Mac Minis, iPod Touch -- as well as Android products and others such as Samsung, Verizon and Google Chromebooks, according to a news release. The company will fix cellphones, smartphones, tablets and laptops in the store, but it will also make visits to homes and businesses for virus removal services. The store is 924 square feet and is located at 63 Raymond Road street, near Eyeglasses.com.

“We are so excited to bring Mobile Rescue Tech Repair to the community,” Amy Cholawa, marketing director for Blue Back Square, said in a news release. “Their services are absolutely critical for residents who are looking to repair their mobile devices, which are now essential to daily life for so many. We look forward to having them at our property.”

Another change recently took place at the property when Kennedy’s All-American Barber Club relocated. Kennedy’s offers “memberships and the finest haircuts for men, the lost art of straight-razor shaves and a modern selection of grooming products within a deliberately masculine atmosphere, offering signature haircuts and shaves plus hair color maintenance, gent’s mini facial, beard and moustache trim and a new MANicure and pedicure room.” To sign up for West Hartford breaking news alerts and more, click here.

“Kennedy’s offers a throwback to old-fashioned barber shops,” Cholawa said. “We really appreciate the guys who belong to the community that Kennedy’s has created at Blue Back Square. We’re so excited that they’re getting a bigger location so they can continue their growth and success.”

Kennedy’s is now located on 66 Memorial Road near Charming Charlie and India Restaurant.

Blue Back Square features more than 35 stores, restaurants and a 6-screen Cinépolis Cinema. Stores and restaurants include West Elm, Crate & Barrel, Barnes & Noble, Charming Charlie, and Janie & Jack. Dining options range from The Cheesecake Factory and World of Beer to Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Bar Louie.
