New Trash Hauling Company Announced For West Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Local officials Wednesday announced that West Hartford's trash hauling company has changed, with All American Waste, LLC, is West Hartford's new trash hauler.

According to the Town of West Hartford, East Granby-based Paine's Recycling & Rubbish Removal, Inc., the town’s prior trash hauler, has merged with Enfield-based All American Waste, LLC, effective Dec. 9, 2024.

Like Paine’s, All American Waste is a family-owned business that has serviced many municipalities in Connecticut for decades.

"In terms of operation, much will stay the same," wrote the Town of West Hartford on Wednesday.

There is one change residents must remember and that is a new customer service number, 860-289-7850.

The greeting will now be “All American Waste,” not Paine’s.

If residents call Paine’s phone number, 860-844-3000, the call will roll over to the new number.

“We take great pride in servicing the Town of West Hartford and this merger will allow us to service the town into the future,” said Michael Paine, Sr., Paine’s president, in a letter to the Town of West Hartford.

“We will be able to leverage All American Waste’s infrastructure, equipment, and experienced team to streamline or enhance services and upgrade equipment in collaboration with the town’s personnel."
