New West Hartford Business Sheds Light On Holistic Therapy
A national light therapy chain is opening its second Connecticut facility at Blue Back Square in West Hartford on Monday.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — One of the town's biggest shopping destinations is adding a new business Monday, one that will shed some light on the practice of holistic therapy.
Blue Back Square this week announced the addition of "beem® Light Sauna," which is a light therapy studio franchise offering infrared, red light, and chromotherapy sessions for improved health.
The company, based in Huntersville, N.C., is opening its second location in the state at Blue Back Square (76 Memorial Road) on Monday.

The other Connecticut location is in Glastonbury, with facilities in New York, Massachusetts, and 15 other states.
It will offer "innovative light therapy solutions to help people achieve greater holistic well-being," according to a statement from Blue Back Square.

"Their infrared saunas generate a deeper, detoxifying sweat compared to traditional saunas, promoting cellular-level toxin removal," reads an announcement.
The therapy treatments, according to the company, help with everything from pain relief, to improved metabolism, stress reduction, and more.
Blue Back officials said they're pleased to add another business to the shopping area.
“We are thrilled to add another dynamic health and wellness offering to Blue Back Square as we continue to diversify our mix of tenants,” said Paul Brandes, principal of Brand Street Properties, the owner and management company of Blue Back Square.
