New West Hartford Food Business To Celebrate Ribbon-Cutting This Week
The unique, upscale specialty food shop will officially open this week at Blue Back Square on Memorial Road.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — A new food business focused on curated charcuterie boards will mark its official opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday at 80 Memorial Road.
The event is scheduled for March 26 from 11 a.m. to about noon at the new shop, located at Blue Back Square.
'Char-cu-te-rie' specializes in French-style charcuterie, a cuisine centered on prepared meats and fine cheeses paired with accompaniments such as crackers or bread, nuts, fruits, pickles, and grapes.

According to a description provided by the business, each board is “prepared and made with care, using only the finest ingredients,” with an emphasis on creating an experience that encourages people “to slow down, gather, and make memories around something thoughtfully made.”
Charcuterie boards are commonly served at parties and social gatherings, where they have grown in popularity in recent years.
