Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT
- More than 1,250 Eastern Connecticut State University students received their diplomas in the 2018-19 academic year. Eastern's commencement ceremony occured May 21 at the XL Center in Hartford. - Gabriela Hoefer of West Hartford was among the 1,519 students named to the Samford University's 2019 spring semester Dean's List. She is majoring in Psychology. To qualify for the dean's list, a student must have earned a minimum 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0 while attempting at least 12 credit hours of coursework. Dean's List is the highest academic recognition given by the school at the end of each semester.

- Tunxis Community College in Farmington has announced the names of West Hartford students who qualified for the Dean’s List for the spring 2019 semester.
