Obituary: Adam Allyn Saxton, 38, of West Hartford
His constant thirst for knowledge made him an interesting person to be around, as he knew a little (and more often a lot) about everything.

Adam Allyn Saxton, 38, of West Hartford, died unexpectedly on October 17, 2018. Born in Bedford, OH, Adam’s journey took him through Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Minnesota, Colorado, Massachusetts and finally to Connecticut. Adam is survived by his loving wife Jessica (Libby), and his amazing daughter Maren. He leaves behind his loving and supportive parents Michael & Bonnie Saxton, Cindy & Robert Kalenian, and his in-laws Joan & Harry Libby. Adam also leaves behind his brother Brian. Adam and Brian exemplified the love/hate (with love always winning) relationship of brothers. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Samantha Libby and his niece and nephew Zoe and Eli Sodickson.
Adam will be remembered and never forgotten by countless aunts, uncles, cousins, family friends and friends. His constant thirst for knowledge made him an interesting person to be around, as he knew a little (and more often a lot) about everything. From tools, to cooking, to history, to gardening, to music, sports and pop culture -- just about anything you could think of. If a topic came up that he wasn’t familiar with, he would research it and report back in.

Adam loved Jessica with his whole heart. His true joy came through when he was with his daughter. Adam was consistent and fair, as well as loving. Maren knew she could rely on her daddy for a wrestling match, baking adventure, extra homework to make sure she knew her assignments, and cuddles on the couch. Their favorite activities: snoozing together in front of the TV and teasing Mom!
A memorial service will be held in honor of Adam at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Molloy Funeral Home located at 906 Farmington Ave., West Hartford. A reception will immediately follow the service at Rockledge Golf Club, 289 S. Main Street, West Hartford.
