Obituary: Anna Margaret Coughlan, 78, Of West Hartford
Anna was employed at the Travelers Insurance Co., for 30 years before her retirement and was a volunteer at St. Francis Hospital.

Anna Margaret Coughlan, 78, of Hartford, formerly of West Hartford, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.
Born in Fermoy, County Cork, Ireland, daughter of the late John and Nellie (Dunlea) Coughlan, she lived in West Hartford for many years prior to moving to Hartford. Anna was employed at the Travelers Insurance Co., for 30 years before her retirement. She was a volunteer at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, a member of the St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary, the Travelers Women's Club and a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, West Hartford.

Anna truly enjoyed many family reunions in the U.S. and in Ireland.
She is survived by a sister and three brothers, Eileen Coughlan, with whom Anna resided all her life, Tony Coughlan, Sean Coughlan and his wife Breda, and Joe Coughlan and his wife Anna; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Besides her parents, Anna was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Hoare and her husband Michael, Esther Vozzola and her husband Don, Bridget Coughlan, an infant sister, Ina Coughlan and a sister-in-law, Joan Coughlan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Connecticut Chapter, 659 Tower Ave, Hartford, CT 06112.
