Obituary: Arthur R. Navarette, 71, of West Hartford
Arthur was a United States Air Force Veteran and was a Russian Interpreter for the Air Force during the Cold War.

Arthur R. Navarette, 71, of West Hartford, formerly of Fairfield, entered into eternal life on August 30, 2018.
Born in Bridgeport and raised in Fairfield, Arthur was the son to the late Peter and Mary (Ducsay) Navarette. He was a popular student who graduated from Andrew Warde High School in 1964. Arthur was a United States Air Force Veteran and was a Russian Interpreter for the Air Force during the Cold War. Arthur was an audiophile and had a passion for music from the 1960's and 70's and loved all film genres. He enjoyed reading science fiction novels and was a loyal life-long New York Yankees and New York Giants fan.

He is survived by his loving sisters, Virginia Gordon, and her husband, Stephen, of West Hartford and Patricia Szepesi and her husband, Arthur, of Roxbury, CT; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Directly at Lawncroft Cemetery, 1740 Black Rock Turnpike, Fairfield, CT 06825 with Full Military Honors.
