Barbara also leaves great neighbors: Bill Paoli and his wife Marina, Sandy Margolis and her sons Joe and Sam, and her best friends, Noel and Robin Harken, all of Newington. They made her life happier and easier. They accepted her disabilities and helped her to keep going. They were truly loved. Her family would also like to thank the staff at Newington Rapid Recovery Rehab Center for their caring and support.

Barbara loved animals, large or small. Her cats were her constant companions. She was an avid gardener until scoliosis took most activities away including driving, virtually severing her life-line to the outside world. Her beloved cats gave her the determination to retain the same style of life, car or no car. Barbara's wish was that she brought happiness to everyone who entered her life.
