Obituary: Douglas G. Krein of West Hartford

Douglas G. Krein of West Hartford, died on December 8, 2018. He was born in Hartford, the son of the late John G. and Rose (Chiodi) Krein. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Hyland Krein of West Hartford, his daughter Linda and her husband James Cullen, his daughter Susan Elmore, and two grandchildren Brigid and Andrew Cullen. He was predeceased by his son-in-law Timothy Elmore.

Douglas attended West Hartford schools and graduated from Hall High School. He was a graduate of Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA. He enjoyed a successful career as an agent with the Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on December 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Claver Church, 47 Pleasant St., West Hartford, CT. The family will greet family and friends at the church beginning at 10:30.
