Obituary: James Lundquist, 77; Formerly of West Hartford
Jim, who worked at Trinity College and The Hartford Seminary, had an irrepressible spirit and made a lasting impression on all who met him.

James Lundquist, 77, of Bolton formerly of West Hartford, beloved husband of the late Mary, passed away peacefully Saturday, June 16, 2018. Born Dec. 17, 1940 in Littleton, NH, Jim was a survivor of Mansfield Training School, where he lived from 1949 until the mid-1970s. He married Mary (Tarquinio) in 1979 and remained her devoted companion until her death in 2001. He is survived by his family and many friends and neighbors.
A retired employee of Trinity College and The Hartford Seminary, Jim also volunteered at Whiting Lane School and took great pleasure in helping neighbors at the Starkel Road West Hartford Fellowship housing complex during his many years there. He had an irrepressible spirit and made a lasting impression on all who met him.

In 2001, he was profiled in a Northeast Magazine cover story and received The Hartford Courant’s Connecticut Bloomer Award for his contributions to the community.
Jim requested that in lieu of flowers donations in his memory be made to The Hartford Seminary Development Office, 77 Sherman St. Hartford, CT 06105.
