Obituary: Leonard J. Agnew, 91, of West Hartford

Leonard J. Agnew, 91, beloved husband of Elizabeth (Diulio) Agnew of West Hartford, died peacefully November 3, 2018. Born in Lynn, MA, the son of the late Leonard and Mary (Foley) Agnew, he was raised in Lynn and graduated from Lynn Classical High School and Tufts University in 1949 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Len worked for Hamilton Standard, United Technologies Inc. as a Senior Service Engineer. He is survived by his wife of 50 years. A special thank you to his caregivers, Beverly, Sylvia, Vickie, Elizabeth and the nurses at McLean for the outstanding care they provided.

Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday beginning with visitation at 10:00 a.m. at the Molloy Funeral Home, 906 Farmington Ave., West Hartford. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Timothy, 1116 North Main St., West Hartford. Donations in his memory may be made to the Church of St. Timothy, 1116 North Main St, West Hartford, CT 06117 or Tufts University School of Engineering, 200 College Ave, Medford, MA 02155.
