Open Mic Night Returning To Playhouse On Park

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Playhouse on Park's Open Mic Night is back this month for the first time since the height of the coronavirus pandemic.

The event is scheduled for Saturday from 10:15 p.m. to 1 a.m., after the 7 p.m. performance of "Into the Woods," the final production of Playhouse on Park's 12th Main Stage Season.

The seeing "Into the Woods" or those coming just for Open Mic Night, are welcome, but all participants and audience members are required to be vaccinated and show their vaccination cards when entering the theatre. This event is free and open to the public and is BYOB.

"People will be singing, and it is BYOB. Ensuring that everyone is vaccinated will allow us to stay as safe as possible during moments when masks cannot be worn," Playhouse on Park officials. said.

Tips for the pianist are encouraged.

"Into the Woods" runs through Aug. Individual tickets are now on sale. Seniors, students, and Let’s Go Arts Member discounts are available. All seats are reserved.
