Over 400 Toys Collected for the Holidays by West Hartford Senior Center

WEST HARTFORD, CT – The Elmwood Senior Center conducted a month-long Toys for Tots toy drive in conjunction with U.S. Marines Corps in an effort to give back to the local community.
The center is a division of the West Hartford Department of Human and Leisure Services, according to a release.
Thanks to the generosity of the engaged Elmwood Senior Center community, 403 new toys were collected for deserving children in the community at the end of the drive.

Elmwood Senior Center is one of two West Hartford senior centers, whose motto is “Experience the Energy.” Throughout the year, Elmwood Senior Center hosts a variety of trips, classes and special events that are seasonal, entertaining, informative and fun.
