According to the WHPD, the pair was assisted last Thursday by a wildlife rehab center called 'A Place Called Hope,' which is located in Killingworth.

West Hartford officers were able to safely capture the owl and place it in the custody of the rehab center, according to the WHPD.

The WHPD said the owl is "doing great" and it was already slated for release back into the wild.
