The Paper Store Coming Soon to West Hartford

WEST HARTFORD, CT - The Paper Store will be opening a new location in West Hartford.

The new store will be located at Bishops Corner, next to Sleepy’s in the Lower Level of the plaza, on 6 Sims Road. According to a release, this is the company’s 62nd location across the northeast; a milestone in their books.

The store is slated to open the end of July, with a Grand Opening Celebration taking place on Saturday, Aug. 6. The event will include a radio station appearance from station WTIC from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Highlights include music, prizes, and a gift card giveaway to the first 100 people in the store. The West Hartford store will also be among the first to showcase the company’s new retail store design – featuring new product displays, home-inspired flooring, and updated fixtures.

“We are so excited to be serving as the premiere gift destination in the greater Hartford area," said Chief Operating Officer of The Paper Store Tom Anderson. "Our location in West Hartford is ideal for customers. We really want customers to come in and meet us, say hi to their new neighbor and learn about who we are.”

The West Hartford location is one of the first in the area, with additional locations in Glastonbury and South Windsor coming in the fall. Founded more than 50 years ago as a family-run stationery store in Massachusetts, The Paper Store has grown into a gift-giving mecca with 62 locations throughout the Northeast.
