Parents Still Involved in Legal Battle Over West Hartford Man’s Death in Terror Attack

A father is still engaged in legal action surround his son's death in a Jerusalem suicide bombing.

WEST HARTFORD, CT – A man whose son was killed in a suicide bombing on a bus in Jerusalem is still fighting a legal battle, as reported by the Hartford Courant.

Leonard Eisenfeld is trying to secure a $327 million payment from the Iranian government, the Hartford Courant reported. US courts have reportedly said that the government was responsible for the attack.

Eisenfeld’s son and West Hartford resident Matthew was in the country studying to become a rabbi when the bombing occurred on Feb. 25, 1996, the Hartford Courant reported. The incident claimed 26 lives.
