UPDATE: Burglars Break Doorknob, Steal Cash Register at West Hartford Bagel Shop

WEST HARTFORD, CT - Police said they are investigating a burglary at Goldberg’s Bagels in West Hartford that happened overnight.

Police said an employee arrived in the morning to find that the rear door had been damaged and left unsecured. The rear door knob was destroyed and removed in the process.

Employees were able to determine that the cash register was missing. Police said the amount of money left in the cash register overnight is unknown at the moment.

Employees on the scene were still determining whether other items inside the business have been tampered with or were missing.
