UPDATE: False Report Prompts Police and SWAT Vehicle Response at West Hartford Apartments
Police activity and the presence of a SWAT vehicle was reported at the Beacon apartments in West Hartford. BREAKING

WEST HARTFORD, CT - A false report prompted the response of about a dozen police officers Wednesday morning at the Beacon apartments, according to NBC Connecticut.
Officers in tactical gear were present at the apartment complex, located at West Beacon Street and Lockwood Terrace, NBC Connecticut reported. The response was due to a woman's report of of a possibly armed person's presence.
West Beacon Street was closed between Prospect Avenue and South Highland Street during the investigation, according to NBC Connecticut. Police said no weapon was found and the woman was taken into custody to possibly be charged with making a false report.
