Popular Jewelry Shop Closing West Hartford Location
The store is holding an everything-must-go sale.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The Silver Dahlia is closing its West Hartford location and an “everything-must-go” sale is underway at the popular jewelry and accessory gift shop. The Silver Dahlia is located on Farmington Avenue in West Hartford. The local chain has two other locations, in Simsbury and Glastonbury, that will remain open, the shop’s owners recently announced.
“After many conversations, and much deliberation, we are making the bittersweet announcement of the closing of our West Hartford location,” reads a post on the shop’s Facebook page. “As a small business, this was not an easy decision, and we cannot thank our customers enough who have supported us there through the years! Simsbury and Glastonbury will remain open, and we hope to see your faces around after all is said and done. We will be starting our closing sale (Feb. 1); 20- 50% off everything in the West Hartford store only! All purchases at the Weha location in this time will be final sale. We look forward to our last hoo-rah with all of you there!”
There is still a lot of merchandise to clear out, so the owners are anticipating the shop’s last day to be around May 1.
