Popular Restaurant’s Items To Be Auctioned Off In West Hartford

"From glassware to refrigerators, from bar stools to point-of-service systems, it all must go!"

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Angelo's on Main — Rockledge's popular clubhouse restaurant — closed on Dec. 23 upon the retirement of Angelo Chirico, who operated the restaurant for the past 16 seasons. In preparation of extensive renovations by Chip Kohn and the Beachland Tavern Group, all of the restaurant’s contents will be auctioned off, officials announced on Friday. The new restaurant is expected to open this spring under new management.

On Tuesday, Jan. 16, beginning at 10 a.m., all of the contents of Angelo’s on Main restaurant will be auctioned off. From glassware to refrigerators, from bar stools to point-of-service systems, it all must go!

From 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., interested buyers may preview the items. Bidding will get underway at 10 a.m. by a professional auctioneer. All equipment and items are sold As Is, according to officials.

Any item purchased, must be removed by either by 5 p.m. on Tuesday or between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17.

Cash or credit card will be accepted for the live auction and credit-card only for the online bidding. A $2.99 service fee will be added to credit card transaction. All invoices are paid on the same day as the auction. Bidders can pay and leave at any time.
