
Duncaster is hosting a program about advances in glaucoma care and how to cope with it. The discussion will be held on Thursday, October 4 at 3 p.m. It is a part of Duncaster’s monthly series, “The Art and Science of Graceful Aging.” This program will take place on Duncaster’s campus, located at 40 Loeffler Road. The event is open to the public, however pre-registration is required.
Geoffrey Emerick, M.D. will lead the discussion. He is a part of the Hartford Hospital Eye Surgery Center. Glaucoma, a condition of increased pressure on the eyeball, is one of the main causes of blindness. The program will include a discussion of the latest medical and surgical options to help improve the quality of life for people living with glaucoma.
