Prospective Execs Invited To USJ Leadership Program
The West Hartford-based university is hosting a program Tuesday, Oct. 10, dealing with the transition to executive/leadership roles.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A locally-based university is hosting a special public forum on the often-difficult transition professionals make when taking on a leadership role.
The program is sponsored by the University of Saint Joseph's Women's Leadership Center and the free forum will be on Tuesday, Oct. 10, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at USJ's Mercy Hall in the "Crystal Room," 1678 Asylum Ave.
Moderated by USJ President Rhona Free, the event will feature four area executives who will speak about the challenges posed by moving into new, executive positions or new companies.

Specifically, the forum will address how prospective business/organizational leaders can get help as they climb the ladder.
"Moving into an executive role within your own organization or moving to a new company requires careful planning and can be assisted by the use of an executive coach," wrote USJ.
