Public Hearing on West Hartford Chick-fil-A Restaurant Set for Tonight
West Hartford will hold a public hearing tonight (May 10) on Chick-fil-A's plans to open its fifth Connecticut location.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford will hold a public hearing on Chick-fil-A’s application to open a new restaurant on New Park Avenue tonight (May 10) at town hall.
The hearing will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Room 314.
Chick-fil-A is hoping to open its fifth Connecticut location at 511 New Park Avenue, which is in a Special Development District therefore the developers are requesting an amendment to construct a new free-standing, single story, restaurant with drive-thru and outdoor dining to the northeast of the Aldi store.

Additional modifications to the site layout, including parking, landscaping, lighting and signage are proposed.
The application calls for a 4,779 square-foot single-story building with 126 seats of inside dining and 22 seats of outside dining with a children’s play area.
