Purse-Snatching Suspects Sought In West Hartford: Police

WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford Police are asking for the public’s assistance with identifying two women who are suspected of stealing a purse at Trader Joes. Police say the two women in the surveillance photos (pictured) allegedly stole a purse from a customer at Trader Joes on New Britain Avenue.

Police say the suspects then went across the street to the Westfarms Mall and attempted to use the victim’s credit card to purchase merchandise. The incident occurred between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Jan. 17, according to police.
