Recently Closed West Hartford Restaurant Owes $250K In Rent: Report
Besito Mexican Restaurant recently announced its decision to close after nearly 10 years in West Hartford.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Besito Mexican Restaurant, which recently closed its doors in West Hartford, is being sued by its landlord for owing more than $250,000 in rent payments, according to NBC Connecticut. Besito announced on its website that it was closing its West Hartford location after being unable to renegotiate its lease at Blue Back Square. Besito had been at the location for nearly 10 years.
NBC Connecticut reports that the landlord, Blue Back Square Holdings, LP has filed paperwork in Hartford Superior Court claiming that Besito failed to pay rent and a request for eviction was sought in June. (To sign up for West Hartford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
In response to the court filings, Besito filed for a Motion to Stay on July 5 and Blue Back Square objected to that, claiming it was a stall tactic, and a hearing is scheduled for Aug. 2, according to NBC Connecticut.
