Renbrook School Announces New Director of Enrollment Management
Amy Samenuk becomes new Director of Enrollment Management and Financial Aid at Renbrook School

West Hartford - Renbrook School is pleased to announce the arrival of their new Director of Enrollment and Financial Aid. Members of the Renbrook School Board of Trustees joined the Leadership Team in a national search for a leader to drive their admission and enrollment strategy. Matt Sigrist, Head of School, shared: “I am pleased to announce the culmination of that search, having identified Amy Samenuk as the choice, among a very talented pool of applicants, who possesses the personal qualities and the ambition to lead these most important efforts at Renbrook for years to come.”
The Renbrook Search Advisory Committee unanimously recommended Samenuk for her combination of energy, warmth, creativity, and competitiveness. An independent school product herself, Samenuk grew up in Connecticut and attended St. Luke’s School in New Canaan, CT and then Suffield Academy. A multi-sport athlete at Suffield, she thrived in this residential community before attending John Carroll University where she majored in communications. Prior to returning to Suffield Academy, Samenuk developed an important skill set in marketing and communications in her work at IMG and the Madison Square Garden Company.
At Suffield, Samenuk distinguished herself as a thoughtful, collaborative, and energetic advocate for the school. Recognized early for her exemplary work, she rose to the position of Senior Associate Director of Admission in a short time managing all on-campus admission programs. Samenuk takes a decidedly collaborative approach, crafting experiences that celebrate the people and authentic stories of the school. Samenuk enjoys coaching basketball and lacrosse and served as an advisor. She has accomplished so much in her time at Suffield because she is a school person at heart – she simply loves working with kids.
