WEST HARTFORD, CT — The Second Chance Shop of West Hartford is officially open for business. The Shop, located at 175 Park Road in West Hartford, celebrated its grand-opening on Jan. 17. The boutique sells gently used clothes and household items to benefit The Village for Families & Children, which provides a full range of behavioral health, early childhood and youth development, substance abuse treatment and support services for children, families and adults in Greater Hartford.

The store is open Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and until 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month. The West Hartford shop joins three other shops in Glastonbury, Simsbury and Suffield, which have, over the past 60 years, contributed $5.5 million to The Village.
