WEST HARTFORD, CT — Police are investigating several package thefts that occurred at homes in West Hartford last Friday.

NBC Connecticut reports a resident on Griswold Street said that packages were stolen from right outside her door just minutes after they were delivered around 11:30 a.m. on Friday. The doorbell security system captured video of a man taking the packages.

Police said that four other package thefts occurred that same day. Some of the packages, including one of the items taken from the Griswold Street home, were recovered after they were opened and dumped in another part of town, according to NBC.
