In addition, the town will be collecting non-perishable food items at this event to stock the shelves of our local food pantry.
Paper collected by Infoshred is safely shredded on-site and then shredded again before being baled at Infoshred’s secure facility.
All paper shredded and processed is recycled and turned into new materials like tissue paper, paper towels, and dental bibs, saving trees, protecting the environment, and keeping paper out of landfills.
The event will be at the side entrance of 17 Brixton St.
If coming from New Park Road, turn down Oakwood Avenue. The side entrance for DPW is just past Brixton Street on Oakwood Avenue. Follow the signs.
Of note:
• This event is for West Hartford Residents only. Id required.
• The limit is two copy paper boxes.
• No plastic bags, junk mail or envelopes.
• When the truck is full, the event will end.
Bring sensitive documents only. Before coming, separate junk mail, other non-sensitive paper, and envelopes and recycle them in the curbside blue barrel.
