Missing West Hartford Man Found (Updated)

A Silver Alert has been issued for Henry Williams Jr., 76, of West Hartford.

Williams is described as a black male with gray hair and brown eyes, standing 5-feet, 9-inches tall and weighs 192 pounds.

He was last since on Thursday, Nov. 20 and was wearing a black and green winter jacket with tan fleece, jeans and black loafers.

If you have seen Williams, call State Police Troop H at 860-534-1000.

According to Williams’ daughter, Holly Williams, he was following her to get his car serviced and missed Exit 25 heading south on Route 9 at 9:45 a.m. Thursday morning. She said he is a competent driver but becomes confused when under stress. He also may be suffering from paranoia.

Holly Williams also said that her father is new to the area (moved here from Nevada two weeks ago) and not familiar with any roads outside of West Hartford. He may not know his address or be able to recall phone numbers as he is used to using his cell phone. She said he was driving a four-door 2013 Silver Honda Accord with Nevada plates 206YKD.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call police at 860-534-1000.

Williams was located in Massachusetts, after being missing for about a day.

Massachusetts police found Williams safe and unharmed. Holly Williams was on her way to pick up her father on Friday morning.
