Singing Principal's Office Is Blue Back Tonight

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Blue Back Square's love affair with music this summer continues tonight, Aug. 11, with a special concert slated to start at 6:30 p.m. at the local retail and dining destination.

There, Connecticut native and Hartford resident Latanya Farrell, a singer and educator, will perform until 8:30 p.m. as part of Blue Back Square's "Sounds of Summer" concert series.

Blue Back Square is located at 65 Memorial Road, West Hartford.

Farrell wears many hats, which include educator, singer, bandleader and school principal (she's the principal of Stafford Elementary School and is known as the "singing principal.")

"We are so excited to host her on our stage," wrote Blue Back Square in an announcement Thursday afternoon. "All are welcome to enjoy this not-to-be-missed free show."
